Community Food Delivery during Coronavirus
When schools close, and they will, our communities will face hardships beyond the coronavirus. Many of our neighbors are food-insecure; many more struggle to put food on the table while juggling other bills. Lack of work, reduced economic activity, quarantines, and medical issues will exacerbate these problems.
When the schools close, children that rely on school for breakfast and lunch will suddenly have no recourse for food.
Our communities must be ready to meet this challenge. We are compiling volunteers to provide food delivery services in the event of quarantines, lockdowns, school closures, or any other eventuality. Please fill out this Google form and let us know you can assist: https://forms.gle/S9M1WopmyXXS22Xm9
Now is the time to show the strength of our community.
