Voter Registration Team
The goal of the voter registration team is to register voters in South Jersey. We will train people how to resister voters and we will form small groups to look for opportunities to register new voters and help unaffiliated voters change their affiliation. If you are interested in helping us with these goals, read through the steps listed below
Steps to Achieve Goal:
- Join Discord
- Follow the #voter-registration channel
- Brainstorm places where we can register sympathetic voters (communities you might belong to or places in your town or county)
- Let us know where and when you want to register voters and we will help you organize a small team to help you
- When registering voters they will need their driver’s license, a non-driver identification card, or their Social Security number
- You can bring your own phone, tablet or laptop (make sure you have internet access or set up hotspot) to use if you are having people sign-up online
- If you want people to use their own phones, have a QR Code with you that they could scan
- You can bring paper forms that you print out yourself. Make sure they get folded correctly and that people drop it in the mailbox. All paper forms must be processed regardless of the party affiliation chosen
- Wearing clothes that show solidarity with the voters we are trying to register is always helpful
