No Kings (June 14, 2025)
Members of Cooper River Indivisible marked the Nationwide Day of Defiance by attending No Kings protests and marches around the area. Of course the majority of us were at the Haddon Township/Collingswood March and Rally that was organized by our organization. The march had over 5000 people participate in this joyous and peaceful protest against tyranny. A few of our members joined the protest in Philadelphia and a few who where on vacation took the time to find a local protest to join.
After the march was over most people stuck around in the parking lot of the Collingswood Farmers’ Market for music and speeches. We heard from politicians, union leaders, and people affected by Trump’s policies. The overall vibes for this event where anger at the situation that we are in, but joy and fellowship within our community.
