June Meeting (June 3, 2025)
CRI had another great turn out for the sign making and general meeting for June. The meeting itself was dominated by amazing speakers that educated the attendees and motivated them to do more. The first speaker talk about the impact of DOGE on federal workers. The second speaker talked about the stress that is present in people living in senior housing, and the third speaker talked about how the present atmosphere is affecting the LGBTQIA+ community.
In addition to the three guest speakers, a subcommittee of the Immigration committee explained the mutual aid project that they are working on and how the general membership can help out. Finally, the group broke into smaller groups to brainstorm were CRI will go from here.
